This specimen develops a nodule gypsum polished, resting on a piece of marne.
Salmon color, it comes from the mine of Dennevy in Burgundy, France.
This mine, now inaccessible, contains nodules of gypses caught in marnes.
This 330 gram specimen measures 10.3 cm long for 8.2 cm wide and 3.9 cm thick.
