From the Mâlain mine in Burgundy, France, this piece showcases a beautiful polished gypsum nodule, in a reddish-brown colour.
This mine, which is not accessible today, contains rare formations of gypsum in nodule and white radial gypsum trapped in clay marls.
This 383 gram specimen measures 9.3 cm wide by 9.1 cm high and 4.8 cm thick.
